Malini E. Ramnarine is a Trinidadian-American therapist passionate about helping individuals and couples navigate the intersection of culture and identity. Growing up in a family affected by substance abuse, she witnessed how cultural expectations and unspoken struggles can weigh people down. These experiences fueled her vision for Moksha Collective—a space where South Asians and Indian-Caribbean individuals can rewrite their stories and find freedom (moksha, as it’s known in Sanskrit).
Malini began her career in corporate finance but found her true calling in mental health. With a master’s degree in Couple and Family Therapy, she now specializes in helping South Asian and Indian-Caribbean communities navigate:
Trained in evidence-based modalities like Accelerated Resolution Therapy (ART), Safe and Sound Protocol (SSP), and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Malini combines a trauma-informed approach with culturally sensitive care to help clients create meaningful, lasting change.
